There is a small back garden accessed from the back door in the kitchen. There is also a shed for storage. I do try and keep the grass cut!

You can walk up Wick River to a site of an ancient battle between the warring local clans...

Caithness is dotted with lots of places of interest. The cairns are quite unique and well worth a visit.

On a good day a walk to The Castle of Old Wick can be enjoyable.

The Corner House is just a few minutes walk from the Town Centre

A short walk takes you across bridge street to the Town Centre.

The Corner House is a few minutes from Wick River

There are lovely walks along and around Wick River. Here is the Coghill Bridge with the old Parish Church in the background. Visit in the spring to enjoy the daffodills when the river banks are a glorious golden hue with all the daffodills.

The Corner House is a few minutes from Pulteney Distillery

After a nice bracing walk come back via the distillery - enjoy a tour and a tasting. Old Pulteney is very enjoyable but they also so a superb cream liquor.

The Corner House is a short drive from Dunnet Head and John O'Groats
